I grew up in southeastern Wyoming. I was sexually active as a teenager, and I often used alcohol or other drugs before having sex. It made me more relaxed. I went to a local beauty college so that I could become a hairdresser. When I graduated, I moved to a larger town in Wyoming where my boyfriend at the time lived. We lived together for a couple of years, got married, and in the third year of the marriage I realized that I didn’t want to be married to him anymore. He left, and I found out two months later that I was pregnant. When I went to see my doctor, he suggested that I have an HIV test. I found out a week later that I was HIV positive. I'm not sure if I got it from my old boyfriend or not.
