I live in one of the dorms and I’m feeling pressured to party more than I’m comfortable doing. I am still a virgin. I don’t flaunt that fact, but I’m unwilling to have a relationship that doesn’t honor my choice.

I grew up in western Wyoming. I am the oldest of four children. My parents both worked leaving me in charge of cooking, cleaning, and shuttling my siblings around. I took these responsibilities very seriously and didn’t have a very active social life. When I was in high school I dated a little, but I have made the conscious decision to wait until I am married before having sex. I don’t want to get pregnant and have to get married early. I have always wanted to be a small business owner and I know that I need to go to college to be successful. I have a good relationship with my church youth group, and I have promised myself to remain a virgin until I am ready to settle down.
